The Peugeot Open Europe contract offers both insurance and assistance to all covered European countries (see map).
1. Multiple risk, non-deductible insurance, includes the following guarantees:
* Driver's civil liability (including non-paying passengers)
* Fire
* Theft (subject to filing a police report)
* Broken glass
* Damage, through accident or acts of vandalism (subject to filing a police report)
* Legal protection
* Driver's coverage
2. Assistance, available 24/7, covering the following incidents:
* Breakdown immobilizing the vehicle that cannot be repaired the same day.
* Accident, vandalism or attempted theft immobilizing the vehicle that cannot be repaired the same day.
* Theft of vehicle.
Important:
- In case of an accident: an accident report must be drawn up with the parties involved.
- In case of theft, attempted theft or vandalism: a police report must be made.
Forewarning, list of cases not covered.
The following incidents are not covered by the insurance or by the assistance:
- tire puncture or blow out (except vandalism)
- mistaken fuel, running out of fuel or mistaken lubricant
- loss or theft of luggage and personal effects
- fines, tickets, accidents linked to alcohol
- loss of car keys
- obvious misuse of vehicle
In the cases stated above, the costs of vehicle repair as well as all towing services are the client’s responsibility.
Who is covered?
- The contract title holder as well as any other non-paying passenger, limited to the number of authorized passengers indicated on the vehicle's registration certificate.
- The vehicle itself, registered under the French special category "T".
For how long?
- The contract holder is covered by the assistance and the insurance for the whole duration of the contract, as stated on the order form and on the international automotive insurance card.
- It is however possible to prolong the contract by contacting CUSTOMER SERVICE at least 4 days before the end of the contract.
